Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) is a Private University under the UP State Government Act 1 and was founded in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in 2012. AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and UGC (University Grants Commission) have both recognised the university. Association of Indian Universities (AIU) membership is held by SRMU. It provides courses that have been authorised by the Indian Bar Council (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and Council of Architecture (COI).
