Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur was established in the year 2012 under the Act No.11/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan. The university is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). It has also been approved by UGC, AIU, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Ministry of small, medium, and micro-enterprises. VGU is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. The university focuses on innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and placements with the help of several collaborations and various agreements with research labs and international universities.

Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur Admission

The admission to Vivekananda Global University is merit-based, depending on the entrance exam scores, and interview round. Admission to all the BTech programmes is offered based on a valid score/rank in one among JEE Main, Uni-GAUGE or RSAT. The admission to B.Arch is offered based on a valid score in the NATA or JEE Main paper-II. Admission to all the diplomas, lateral entry in diploma, lateral entry in BTech, BSc, BCA, BBA, BBA (Hons), BCom, BHMCT, BAJMC and BSc (Hons) courses is based on the merit scores in Class 12 qualifying exam.

For BSc in Forensic Science, the University conducts the VGU AIFSET entrance exam. Admission to BDes and BDes+MBA courses is offered on the basis of a valid score in the University-conducted DE-CODE exam. CLAT or LSAT or RSAT exam is accepted for admission to the BBA+LLB course. Admission to MBA at this University is based on a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT or RSAT exam. For the remaining PG programmes, admission is granted based on merit in the qualifying exams of the UG courses.

The top companies taking part in the placements drive are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Agro Star, and many more. In the past eight years, over 5,000 students have been placed in various top companies. Till February 2020, 97% of BCom students of batch 2018-2020 were offered placements.
