National Institute of Technology, Goa which is popularly known as NIT Goa is a public funded institute of higher learning for engineering, science and technology. It was established in 2010 in Goa, India. NIT Goa is approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It is ranked 90 in the NIRF 2023 list under the engineering college category and is also recognized as the ‘Institute of National Importance’ by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. NIT Goa gives admission to Foreign and NRI students on the basis of the scheme of DASA (Direct Admission to Students Abroad).

NIT Goa Admission 2025
NIT Goa is an engineering college which offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is made through JEE Main exam followed by counselling sessions and personal interviews. Those who are seeking admission to M.Tech college programmes are required to qualify GATE exam. Candidates are required to appear for the respective entrance examination to fulfil the NIT Goa selection criteria to be eligible for admission.

- Candidates have to appear for the national/state-level entrance examination as per the desired course.
- Selected candidates will be then called for a personal interview and counselling round.
