The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) conducts the online written exam for the post of Local Bank Officer (JMGS-I). Candidates who have applied for this recruitment process will now appear for the online exam, which is being conducted on September 24, 2026, and September 29, 2026. IOB LBO Exam Pattern 2026

The Indian Overseas Bank LBO exam will be conducted in online mode and will include 140 objective questions that will be divided into four important sections. The IOB LBO exam will have to be completed within 3 hours, and each section of the exam will have sectional timings. Given below is the complete exam pattern of the IOB LBO recruitment exam 2026:-

  • Candidates should note that there is a penalty for wrong answers. For each incorrect answer marked by the candidates, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • There are no sectional qualifying marks. However, candidates belonging to the reserved category must score 30%, and candidates belonging to the unreserved category must score 35%.

Selection Process of the IOB LBO Recruitment 2026

The selection process for the Indian Overseas Bank Local Bank Officers includes three selection stages, which are as follows:-

  • Online Written Exam (Objective Computer-Based Test)
  • Local Language Proficiency Test (Exempted if the local language was studied in 10th or 12th Standard.)
  • Personal Interview and Document Verification.
