NEET PG 2026 LIVE Updates: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to release the NEET PG 2026 answer key and candidate response details on or after October 1, 2026. Individual scorecards will also be made available for download from October 1 through the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in. Candidates will be able to access the details through the applicant login.
The answer key and individual response sheets are highly awaited as students on X (formerly twitter) have alleged score discrepancies of up to 100 marks in their results. These documents will allow the medical aspirants to calculate their expected score and understand the basis of the evaluation system used to award scores.
Recently, the Indian Students' Medical Association, AIMSA wrote to the Union Health Minister, urging his intervention for the urgent release of answer key, individual response sheet and official question paper, as several students approached them, alleging discrepancies in their results.
NEET PG 2026 Seat Matrix
On September 29, the National Medical Commission (NMC) released the MD/MS/DNB seat matrix for the 2026-27 academic session. The matrix provides details of postgraduate seats across medical colleges and specialties. A total of 10,756 colleges are offering around 58,000 seats across India this year.

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key: What Candidates Will Get
As per the NBEMS update, candidates will be able to view their question ID numbers, correct answers, recorded responses and the scores awarded for individual questions. This will allow candidates to compare the answers marked in the examination with the official answers and understand how their score was calculated.
The NEET PG 2026 result was declared on September 24. However, the individual scorecards and detailed answer/response information are being made available separately from October 1.
NEET PG 2026 Counselling
The NEET PG 2026 round 1 counselling registration for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will begin on October 1, 2026. The Appellate Medical Assessment Board will conduct medical assessments of PwD candidates from 10 am on October 5 to 5 pm on October 12, 2026.
The release of the seat matrix provides candidates with details of the postgraduate seats available for the upcoming admission process. The MCC has stated that the NMC and NBEMS seat matrix is required before PG counselling can commence, while the counselling process will cover the 50 per cent All India Quota postgraduate seats handled by MCC. The remaining 50 per cent seats admission will be handled by the respective concerned authorities of the state.

Candidates can check the NEET PG answer key and response details through the applicant login by following these steps:
- Visit the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
- Go to the NEET PG 2026 section.
- Click on the Applicant Login link.
- Enter your user id and password.
- Open the link for the NEET PG 2026 answer key/response sheet.
- Check the question ID, correct answer and recorded response.
- Download the document and save it for future reference.
