NIT Manipur Admission 2025
NIT Manipur admission to B.Tech programmes is conducted through JEE Main exam and the counselling process conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for seat allocation to the eligible candidates depending on their merit. It also offers M.Sc programmes in Applied Science in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry depending on the merit scored by the candidate in their bachelor's degree. For M. Tech college programmes, candidates are admitted on the basis of GATE exam and the remaining seats are for candidates who clear the entrance examination conducted by NIT Manipur. For NIT Manipur admission to PhD programmes, the candidates should possess a master's degree in the field they have opted to pursue their PhD with the prescribed scores.
Step-by-step application process:
- Candidates have to appear for the national/state-level entrance examination as per the desired course.
- Selected candidates will be then called for a personal interview and counselling round.
- Final admission is done after the verification of documents and payment of fees.
