Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the seat allotment results online for the third round of allotment today, September 23, 2026. Candidates will need to download their allotment letter on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. According to the schedule, the third round of seat allotment for medical and dental courses will commence on September 24, 2026. The option entry will begin from September 25, 2026 from 11 AM to September 29, 2026 till 11 AM. The result has been released for Medical and Dental undergraduate programmes.
Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have not yet been allotted a seat, those who paid a penalty after seat allotment, and those who have already secured admission but wish to upgrade to a better seat, may participate in the third round of counseling.
Candidates who did not select any option after seat allotment, or those who opted for 'Choice-4' and exited the counseling process, are not eligible to participate in this round.

KEA NEET UG Counselling 2026: Important Points
- Candidates eligible to participate in the third round must mandatorily pay the caution deposit by September 28, 2026, based on the fees of the course they wish to join.
- Candidates who have paid the caution deposit will be allowed to enter fresh options from September 25 to 29. Previously entered options will not be considered.
- Admission to the allotted college is mandatory following seat allotment in this round.
- The provisional results for the third round will be published after the announcement of the MCC 3rd round seat allotment results. If a candidate is allotted a seat in the third round after the allotment release by the MCC and wishes to retain the KEA seat, they must inform the authority in person via a letter; otherwise, they will not be considered for the 3rd round of counseling.
- Candidates who have already secured admission to other CET courses, including engineering, should enter options only if they are genuinely interested in joining medical or dental courses. After securing a seat, ensure you can retrieve your original documents from your previous college before submitting your options.
