TN NEET SS Counselling 2025: The Selection Committee, Directorate Of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Chennai has started the registrations for NEET SS Counselling 2025 today, September 23, 2026. Candidates can apply online on the official website at tnmedicalselection.net. The last date to register online is tomorrow, September 24, 2026 till 11:59 PM.
The counseling is being held for admission to Super Speciality (SS) programmes in affiliated private, government, and self-financing colleges across the state of Tamil Nadu only for in-service quota candidates.
The notice reads, “the qualifying percentile for NEET SS 2025 has been reduced to 30th percentile for all the specialities as per NBEMS notice to participate in the Stray round of NEET-SS 2025 Super Specialty Counseling of State of Tamil Nadu.” it further adds that if a lower percentile candidate has already applied, they need not apply again.

TN SS Counselling 2025 Stray Vacancy Tentative Seat Matrix Released

MCC NEET SS Counselling 2025 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule Released
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule of the NEET SS Special Stray Vacancy Round today, September 23, 2026. The schedule PDF has been released on the official website at mcc.nic.in. This round of counselling has been made mandatory after a Supreme Court order as well as after a decision of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) where they have decided to make changes in the cutoff percentage criteria for the qualification from 50th to 30th percentile.
According to the new schedule of the counseling process, the windows of online registration and fee payment would be opened from September 25, 2026 to September 28, 2026. The choice filling and locking would be available till September 29, 2026, while seat processing and allotment would be made on September 30, 2026.
