Girls Again Lead the MP Higher Secondary Exam Results this year

    Madhya Pradesh Higher Secondary Exam Results 2014 are out now, and this year also girls are topping the result charts in the higher secondary school certificate examinations. Not only did the girls outshine boys with their performance but they bagged the top position as well for class 10 and class 12 results. The result was announced by school education minister, Paras Jain.

    This year the girls stood with an overall pass percentage of 69.49% whereas boys stayed with 63.31% in class 12 results. Boys however fared well in class 10 results of MPBSE in comparison to girls with about 47.89% passing percentage and girls scoring 47.56%.

    As per the provisionary merit list issued by the MPBSE, the leading lady is from Saraswati Shishu Higher Secondary School, Santa. Tripti Tripathi stood first in class 12 by scoring 97.6% marks, Rahul Ghosh from Tikamgarh stood second with 97.4% marks followed by Mritunjay Tripathi from Satna scoring 97.2% marks. All the three are students from science-maths group. In commerce section highest percentage scored for class 12 was 95.6% by Hitanshi Vyas from Scholar's Home Public School, Arera Colony, Bhopal.

    For class 10 results Prayusha Parsai from Saraswati Higher Secondary School Itarsi, Hoshangabad succeeded with 99% marks. The second position had two candidates Harshita Ojha from Gwalior and Shubhankar Shukla from Umaria scoring same percentage of 98.1% each.

    This year the results of class 12 are more enhanced as compared to last year as this year 65.88% passed the exam in contrary to last year’s percentage of 59.63%. For class 10 it was all the same in both the years.
