A total of 155158 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced, which was conducted on May 20, 2018. This year, the exam was fully computer based (online mode). The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has released JEE Advanced 2018 result today, 18138 candidates has successfully cleared the minimum cut-off set by the Indian Institute of Technology. Pranav Goyal, a student from Panchkula topped the exam by scoring 337 marks out of 360 marks. Also, a girl from Delhi, Meenal Parakh secured 6th rank by scoring 318 marks out of 360 marks. Also, she topped among the girls who appeared for JEE Advanced 2018.

Conclusion:
This year, out of 155158 candidates 18138 have successfully qualified JEE Advanced exam. After the result declaration, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2018 will start counselling procedure from June 15, for admission to 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
