Eligibility Criteria for Posts under NIHSAD Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification:
JRFs / SRFs : M.V.Sc/M.Tech/M.Sc in one of the following disciplines. (Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Genetics /Microbiology/Bioinformatics or any other Life Science discipline) For candidates with Post graduate degree in basic science, NET qualification (UGC/ICAR/ICMR/CSIR) or equivalent is essential for consideration of candidature as SRF.
Desirable: The candidates should have strong background in handling tools of molecular biology, virology, cell culture, lab animal experiments with basic knowledge of infectious diseases diagnosis, host-pathogen interactions and bio-informatics
Project Assistants : First class M.Sc/B.V.Sc and AH/B.E/B.Tech in one of the following disciplines (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Microbiology or equivalent Life Sciences discipline)
Desirable: Exposure of working in research environment, Good command over written/spoken English and Computer applications.
Age Limit for Posts under NIHSAD Recruitment 2017
JRFs / SRFs : Max. 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Project Assistants : Max. 28 years
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. Rules.
Selection Procedure for Posts under NIHSAD Recruitment 2017
Selections will be made based on the performance in Written Tests followed by an interview.
