Eligibility Criteria for Posts under OPSC 2017
Educational Qualification:
Lecturer (Group A) : A candidate should possess a Master's degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a second class in bachelors degree. Provided that candidates belonging to the SC/ ST shall possess a Master's degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at-least 50% marks or its equivalent grade with second class in the Bachelors degree.
NET in the concerned subject shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post graduate degree but the candidates having Ph.D. degree on the concerned subject shall be eligible and exempted from the requirement of NET/ SLET/ SET.
Age Limit for Posts under OPSC 2017
Gen: 21-33 years
Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be as per government of India norms.
Selection Procedure for Posts under OPSC 2017
Selections will be made based on career assessment and viva voce. The Commission shall shortlist the candidates for interview on the basis of the evaluation of their academic history.

Eligible and desirous candidates can apply through the prescribed format and fill forms through the website http://opsconline.gov.in applications sent through any other mode will be rejected. The applicants are required to send the print out/ hard copy of the online application form to Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, P.K. Parija Road, Buxi Bazar, Cuttack-753001. The last date to submit duly filled application forms is 20 June 2017.
