RRB JE Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is soon going to publish a notification for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (JE). The notification for the Junior Engineer (Safety & Non-Safety), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Supervisor is expected to be released in the month of July. The dates of registration will be announced once the notification is released.
RRB is expected to fill 7934 vacancies of which 7346 vacancies are expected for Junior Engineer, 12 for Metallurgical Supervisor/Researcher, 5 for Chemical Supervisor/Researcher, 398 for Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), 150 for Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

The notification will be released in the employment newspaper. It will also be published on the official website of the RRB i.e. rrbapply.gov.in. The notification is expected to be released in the last week of July.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates interested for RRB JE Jobs should possess an engineering qualification in different engineering disciplines as follows:
- Junior Engineer - Diploma/Degree in relevant engineering Stream from a recognised university.
- Depot Material Superintendent - Diploma/Degree in relevant engineering Stream from a recognised university.
- Junior Engineer (Information Technology) - PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ Btech (IT)/ Btech (Computer Science)/ DOEACC B level course of 3 years duration
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant - Bachelor degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks

18 to 36 years
RRB JE Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Selection for Junior Engineer (JE) posts will be done through the three stages recruitment process including Computer-Based Examination (CBT) as a screening test in two phases followed by verification of documents and medical examination.

RRB JE 2024 Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs. 500/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. However, the amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage of CBT.
- The application fee for the SC, ST, ESM, Female, EBC, and Transgender is Rs. 250/-. However, the amount of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage of CBT.
