SSC CGL Examination 2017 notification has been finally released, candidates aspiring to join Indian Govt. services after Graduation can apply for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017. The candidates eligible for the post can apply in the prescribed format on or before 16 June 2017.
Corrigendum
SSC has notified through a Corrigendum that the maximum age limit for the posts under the Post Code K,L,M and P has been raised to maximum 30 years. And the other addition to the previous notification is, SSC has made it CPT (Computer Proficiency Test for the Post codes K,L and M mandatory. Therefore, the post of Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), and Inspector (Examiner) will now be part of Para 9 (E) in the notification.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Examination 2017
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12thstandard or Graduation with statistics.
All Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
Examination Scheme:
- Tier-I--Computer Based Examination
- Tier-II--Computer Based Examination
- Tier-III--Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
- Tier-IV--Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification
Tier-I--Computer Based Examination will consist of 100 question with weightage of 2 marks each from the subjects of General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension., Whereas Tier-II--Computer Based Examination will test candidates on their knowledge of Quantitative Abilities, English Language & Comprehension, Statistics and General Studies (Finance and Economics). In the Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper) candidates will be tested on English /Hindi which will include writing of Essays/Precise/Letter/Applications etc. Final Stage will test their Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification.
