SSC CPO Exam Date 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the date for Paper 2 of the Central Police Organisation (CPO) 2024 recruitment exam. As per the schedule, the SSC Sub-Inspector (SI) Paper 2 exam for Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will be conducted on March 8, 2025.

The application status for all regions is expected to be released a week prior to the exam date, while the admit cards will be made available four days before the exam.

Candidates who successfully cleared the Physical exam, held from October 14 to 15, 2024, are eligible to appear for SSC CPO Paper 2. They are advised to regularly visit the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, for the latest updates regarding the SSC CPO exam schedule, admit card release, and other important information.

SSC CPO Exam Date 2025

The commission has announced the SSC CPO Paper 2 exam date to fill 4187 vacancies. Of these, 125 positions are reserved for Delhi Police SI Male, 61 for Delhi Police SI Female, and 4001 for CAPF SI. The SSC CPO Paper 1 examination was held from June 27 to June 29 and the results were announced on September 2. Candidates who have surpassed the SSC CPO cut-off marks are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam, scheduled to be held on March 8, 2025.

SSC CPO Selection Process

The recruitment process for the SSC CPO Sub-Inspector (SI) posts involves four stages. Candidates must clear each stage to move to the next stage.

1. Paper 1: A computer-based test carrying 200 marks with sections on: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): These assess candidates’ physical fitness and endurance.
3. Paper 2: Focuses on English language skills and comprehension.
4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Ensures candidates meet the required medical standards.

SSC CPO Paper 2 Exam Pattern

SSC CPO Paper 2 is conducted after the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a total of 200 marks. It is conducted online and focuses on the English Language and Comprehension section. Candidates should be aware that there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, so it is important to answer carefully.
