The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta announced the CAT 2024 results on December 19. Most IIMs have begun their shortlisting process using CAT 2024 scores. The admission criteria for IIMs in 2025 vary across institutions. Candidates with a high CAT 2024 percentile can anticipate interview calls from IIM BLACKI in January.

IIM BLACKI refers to the six prestigious IIMs: IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Indore. These institutes are renowned for their global reputation, academic excellence, and impressive placement records.

IIM BLACKI Interview Calls: CAT cut-off and eligibility

Candidates who achieved a high percentile in CAT 2024, generally above 97 percentile depending on the category and institute, have a strong chance of receiving interview calls from IIM BLACKI.

Furthermore, candidates with excellent academic performance, relevant work experience, and a well-rounded profile, including extracurricular accomplishments, are more likely to be shortlisted for IIM interview calls.

Fulfilling institute-specific criteria, including academic requirements, eligibility standards, and professional experience, is also necessary to receive interview calls from IIM BLACKI.

IIM Interview Calls: 14 candidates achieved a 100 percentile in CAT 2024.

According to the CAT 2024 result PDF, 14 candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile. Engineering students and male candidates predominated the top ranks. Out of the 14 achievers, 13 were engineers, with 13 males and 1 female in the group.

In addition, 29 candidates attained a 99.99 percentile, including 25 from engineering backgrounds and 4 from non-engineering fields. This group consisted of 27 males and 2 females. Furthermore, 30 candidates achieved a 99.98 percentile.

IIM CAT Cut off 2024

Meeting the CAT 2024 cut-off is a requirement for IIM eligibility but does not guarantee interview calls or admission to IIM BLACKI.   • Personal Interview (PI): A personal interview is held by a panel consisting of faculty members and industry experts.
