The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) was held on May 4, 2025, by the National Testing Agency for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India. Undergraduate medical programs typically last four to five years, whereas postgraduate medical programs last three years.

Maulana Azad Medical College

With the old Irwin Hospital (now the Lok Nayak Hospital) adjacent, the Maulana Azad Medical College had a very modest start in 1958. This college is named after Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, a well-known leader and someone who cared a lot about education. His name shows that the college aims to be very good in medicine.

Undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral courses in medical disciplines are offered at the university. The University of Delhi offers all these courses, and the Medical Council of India has given them its official okay. Lady Hardinge Medical College

The Lady Hardinge Medical College was founded in 1914. First-year admissions were continuously raised from 16 each year in 1916 to 60 in 1956. The number of admissions grew to 100 in 1961 and then to 130 in 1970.  In 1954, postgraduate courses were introduced in partnership with Punjab University, and 1956, they were joined by the University of Delhi.
