Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Law Colleges through CUET 

There is a set of eligibility criteria for a student to be eligible for admission to the law courses being offered by various universities through the CUET (UG) scores. While many universities and colleges have course-specific eligibility criteria, there is a common eligibility criterion for candidates seeking admission through the CUET. 

Below is the list of some of the eligibility criteria required for admission to the law courses offered by various colleges and universities through the CUET (UG) scores:-

  • A candidate must have cleared class 12 with any relevant stream from a recognised board.
  • A candidate who belongs to the unreserved category must have secured at least 45-50% marks in class 12th in the related subject from a recognised board.
  • A candidate who belongs to the reserved category must have secured at least 40% marks in class 12th in the related subject from a recognised board.
