SSC CGL Vacancy 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the detailed SSC CGL vacancy notice on its official website, ssc.gov.in on 24 September 2026. The SSC has already closed the application process for the SSC CGL 2026 and the Tier 1 exam is scheduled to take place on 30 September to 30 October 2026. SSC CGL Vacancy 2026: Check Previous Trends
The SSC has reduced the total number of vacancies by 19%, which is 2874 less vacancies when compared to the CGL 2025 cycle, where the number of vacancies announced were 15,130. If we look at the overall previous trends, the number is reducing significantly since 2024. There was a huge spike in the number of vacancies in the year 2022, with a total of 36,001 vacancies announced by the commission. The year 2021 and 2023 has seen a decline in the number of vacancies.
