AP PGECET 2026: The Andhra University, acting on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), has officially released the web-counselling date for AP PGECET 2026. The web counselling process helps secure admission in the M.Tech, M. Pharmacy, and Pharm. D courses in the Government/Private universities of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2026-27. The eligible candidates who have qualified for GATE/GPAT/ AP PGECET 2026 can apply online through the official websites, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in or cap.apcfss.in.
The online application and payment of fees will start from September 16, 2026, and will end on September 21, 2026. Online certificate verification will be conducted from September 17 to September 22 in the help-line centers. The selected candidates can use their web options to choose the colleges and courses from September 18 to September 21, and they will be given option editing facility on September 25.

AP PGECET 2026 Counselling: Key Guidelines & Allotment Rules
As per the guidelines on admissions, candidates qualified for GATE and GPAT will have priority in terms of seat allocation, and the remaining seats will be allotted to candidates of AP PGECET based on merit. The candidates, having secured a seat, are required to undergo the process of online joining and report at their respective colleges from September 30 to October 3, 2026. All the academic sessions for all the post-graduate courses are supposed to start from September 30, 2026.

Preference Order: First preference order is given to candidates with GATE/GPAT qualification.
All the remaining available seats will be allocated to AP PGECET 2026 ranked candidates.
Registration Fee: ₹1,000 for OC/BC category candidates; ₹600 for SC/ST candidates (to be paid online at the time of registration).
Seat Quota: 85% of the total seats of participating institutions are reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh, while 15% for non-local candidates.
