MAT PBT 2026: Documents to Carry
Candidates should prepare all mandatory documents tonight to avoid last-minute problems at the examination centre. The following items should be carried for the MAT PBT exam:
- Printed colour copy of MAT 2026 admit card
- Original valid government-issued photo ID
- Blue or black ball-point pen
- Two passport-size photographs, preferably the same photograph used during registration
Is a Digital Admit Card Valid for MAT PBT?
Candidates should not rely on a digital copy of the admit card. A printed hard copy of the MAT admit card is required at the examination centre. Candidates are advised to carry the required documents in physical form.
MAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for MAT PBT 2026 should keep the following instructions in mind:
Reach the Centre Early
Candidates should reach the allotted test centre well before the reporting time. The examination gate is expected to close 30 minutes before the exam begins, and late entry may not be permitted.
Check the Test Centre Before Leaving
The test-centre address printed on the admit card should be checked carefully. Candidates should plan their route in advance and allow extra travel time.
Carry Only Permitted Items
Candidates should carry the admit card, valid photo ID and required stationery. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic gadgets, earphones and other prohibited items should not be taken inside the examination hall.
Follow OMR Instructions Carefully
Since MAT PBT is conducted using an OMR answer sheet, candidates should mark their answers carefully using a blue or black ball-point pen. Only one option should be marked for each question.
MAT PBT 2026 Exam Pattern
