As per the official update, the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2022 notification was released on Sunday – 1^st February 2022. Along with releasing the notification, the exam authority has also commenced the registration process for the engineering entrance exam. JEE Main 2022 Exam Dates: Test in Two Sessions

As confirmed by NTA earlier, the JEE Main 2022 Exam is being held in two sessions this year. Candidates will be allowed to have two attempts to appear for the JEE Main 2022 Exam in April and May sessions. As per the official schedule, the JEE Main 2022 April Attempt will be held from 16^th to 21^st April while the May attempt of the engineering test will be held from 24^th to 29^th May 2022. JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria

With the registration process already underway, it is also important for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. To ensure that engineering aspirants have complete clarity about the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria, the NTA has notified the same on its official website and the same is as follows:

• Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing for JEE Main 2022
• Academic Qualification: Candidate needs to have appeared or cleared Class 12 / equivalent exam in 2020, 2021 or should be appearing for it in 2022.
• Who is not Qualified: Candidates who have passed for Class 12 / equivalent exam in 2019 or before JEE Main 2022. Similarly, those who would be appearing for Class 12 / equivalent exam in 2023 are also not eligible.

• Step 1: Log onto the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: In the top menu of Latest News, locate and click on link for ‘Registration for JEE(Main) 2022’
• Step 3: You will be redirected to the candidate registration portal
• Step 4: Locate and click on the link for the ‘New Registration’ option
• Step 5: Read the instructions displayed on the screen and click on the declaration box
• Step 6: Register yourself by providing personal details, communication details and set your password to continue
• Step 7: Log onto the portal using your newly created credentials
• Step 8: Fill up the JEE Main 2022 Application form with academic and other details
• Step 9: Upload supporting documents, scanned copies of photographs and signature as required
• Step 10: Pay the requisite amount of the application fee, as notified on the portal
