NEST 2024: The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has announced the schedule for the NEST 2024 exams. Candidates interested in applying for the entrance exams can visit the official website to check the complete schedule.

According to the dates issued, the NEST 2024 applications will begin on March 20, 2024. The exams are scheduled for June 30, 2024. Students interested in applying must check the eligibility criteria and other specifications before filling out the NEST 2024 applications.

NEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Authorities have specified the eligibility criteria for candidates interested in appearing for the NEST 2024 exams. Students applying must check the eligibility criteria properly before filling out the applications. The NEST 2024 eligibility criteria is provided below. 

• Candidates applying must have cleared their class 12 or equivalent exam in 2022, or 2023 or must be appearing for the class 12 exams in 2024. 
• Students applying must have a minimum of 60% marks in class 12 exams. Students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Divyangjan category must have a minimum score of 55%.  
• Only those qualifying their NEST 2024 exams will be considered for admissions

NEST 2024 Registration

The link for students to register for the NEST 2024 exams will be available on the official website from MArch 20, 2024 onwards. Candidates interested in applying for the integrated MSc programme must first complete the registration process through the link provided. Students registering must have a valid email id and mobile number. 

NEST 2024 Exam

The NEST 2024 exam is scheduled for June 30, 2024. The exams will be conducted for three hours. The question paper will be divided into four sections namely Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics for a total of 200 marks. Each question will carry 4 marks and a negative marking of -1 will be applicable for every incorrect answer.
