HPBOSE DElEd Counselling 2026: Schedule Released at hpbose.org; Check Dates Here

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharmshala has released a detailed notification on the schedule for counselling for admission to the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), Session 2026-2028 today, September 13, 2026. The admission will be done for filling up the seats in Government DIETs and privately managed institutes affiliated to the Board. 

The counselling will be conducted from September 15 to September 16, 2026 at the Board Headquarters, Dharamshala, from 10 AM onwards. The date-wise list of candidates being called for counselling is available on the Board's official website at hpbose.org.

Himachal Pradesh DElED Counselling 2026: Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the following list of eligibility criteria before applying and appearing for the counselling: 

• Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.
• The relaxation of 5% marks in minimum education qualification is available to SC/ST/OBC/PHH candidates as per the rules and instructions of the State Govt.
• The age limit will be between 17-32 years (i.e. born between 31.05.1994 and 31.05.2009, both dates included).
• Relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit shall be given to the candidates of reserved categories, i.e. for SC/ST/OBC/PHH (i.e. born between 31-05-1989 and 31-05-2009, both dates included).
• There will be no upper age limit in case of Ex-servicemen candidates only. Whereas, Ward of Ex Service man will be treated as per provisions mentioned at point no (iii).

HPBOSE DElEd Counselling 2026: Important Instructions 

• Counselling Sessions(s) shall be conducted by the HPBOSE for allocating seats to the candidates based on his/her preferences and position strictly in the merit list prepared on the basis of D.EL.ED (CET)- 2026.
• Seat available at the time & turn of the candidate will be allotted as per his/her choice at once only. Allotted seats will not be changed at a later stage, so candidates should ensure the options of the desired institution with the consent of their parents/ guardians before giving the choice.
• If any candidate has already taken a seat with his desire during any phase/round of counselling, he/she cannot claim another seat. He/she will also not be eligible for attending or counselling for re-issue / change the seat in any circumstances during any other phases/ rounds of counselling.
• Left out seats or seats vacated by any candidates will be allotted in the next phase / round of counselling on the basis of merit. Candidates who own the seats in the previous phase / round of counselling cannot claim for such seats.
• The candidates/parents are advised to remain in touch regularly with the HPBOSE official website for updates at web address at hpbose.org. and advised to download notifications and instructions.
