Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, has launched the new undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Artificial Intelligence of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow at the Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026. The initiative’s goal is to connect AI education with management and public policy, creating industry-driven solutions that are socially meaningful and in line with national priorities and as well as global advancements.
The New AI-Focused Academic Programs of IIM Lucknow
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow offers three artificial intelligence-focused academic programs, which will be as follows:-

A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics for a duration of four years, beginning from 2026-27, for class 12the students through JEE Advanced scores.

Tech MBA for a duration of two years, which is set to launch in the academic year 2027-28, and this program will combine technology and managerial abilities.

The institute will also offer an integrated BS and Tech MBA program for a duration of five years, in which students in the BS program can choose to continue on this integrated pathway to obtain both degrees.
These undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programs in Artificial Intelligence, which will be offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, seek to achieve three interrelated goals, which are as follows:-
