Fun Fact:- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, is the sixth institute in the IITs list and was established in 1994, and has been offering courses and producing leaders and professional engineers for around 31 years.
Whereas, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Guwahati will be established in 2025 or 2026 (approximately), and the formation of the IIM Guwahati was approved with the approval of the Indian Institute of Management Amendment Bill 2025, and it will also be designated as the National Institute of Importance.
