BSEB Annual Secondary Exam 2028: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will close the registration window for the secondary examinations today, September 24, 2026. School principals and/or heads will need to apply and submit their application online on the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.org. 

The applications began on September 5, 2026 for the annual examinations. The authorities must note that the application and fee will be submitted through online mode. The official notification on the website reads “Commencement of Online Registration for Submission of Online Application Form for Secondary Annual Exam 2028 is from 05-09-2026 To 24-09-2026”

BSEB Secondary Online Registration Process

Candidates can check the instructions for filling the registration/permission application form here: 

1. Login: First, school heads will log in using their User ID and Password on the Committee's portal.
2. Make Payment: After logging in, go to the 'Make Payment' option and pay the prescribed fee according to the number of students to be registered.
3. View Payments: After successful payment, go to the 'View Payments' section to view the list of all completed payments (Payment List) and their status.
4. Add Student: After the payment process is completed, use the 'Add Student' option to add students one by one to the list for registration.
5. Fill Details: Select each student and fill in their personal details carefully.
6. Preview and Edit: After entering all details and before final submission of the form, use the Preview button to carefully verify the filled information. If there is any error, click the Edit button to correct it.
7. Form Save: It is mandatory to click the Save button to save the entered details during the online application process. If not saved, the entered details will automatically be canceled.
8. Declaration Upload: It is mandatory to upload the Declaration for candidates whose forms have been submitted. Therefore, download the Declaration under this menu, obtain the signatures of the student, their parent/guardian, and the school head, and then upload it; otherwise, the registration process will not be complete. Incomplete registrations resulting from the non-uploading of signed declaration forms by student, parent, and principal after logging in by the school head will appear in Table-1, following which incomplete registrations shall be completed by the school head.
9. View Registration Details: After successfully submitting details for all students, the list of all registered students can be viewed and printed under the "Registered Student List" section. The process to view successfully completed registrations after logging in by the school head will appear in Table-2, according to which successfully completed registrations can be reviewed.
10. Logout: After completing the entire process, log out of the portal for security reasons.

How to apply for BSEB Secondary Examination 2028? 

Candidates will need to follow the mentioned steps to apply for BSEB Secondary Examination 2028 online: 

1. Visit the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.org
2. Under ‘Secondary Exams’ tab, click on the “Registration 2027-2028” option 
3. Enter the User ID and password to submit 
4. In the dashboard, upload the data for the students appearing for secondary examinations 
5. Verify that the details are correct to submit 
6. Download the confirmation page for future reference
