CAT 2026 Application Form Correction Dates Out; Opens October 5 at iimcat.ac.in

IIM Indore will activate the CAT 2026 Application Correction Window on October 5, 2026 for candidates who have successfully completed the registration process and paid the application fee. The facility will allow applicants to review and make changes to selected details in their Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 application form through its official website, iimcat.ac.in.
Candidates should note the CAT application correction facility is limited and does not allow changes to every section of the submitted form. Candidates can edit their photograph, signature and test city preferences, while personal and academic details will remain unavailable for correction. CAT 2026 registration closed on September 22, 2026 and the entrance exam is scheduled to be held on November 29, 2026 in three sessions across designated test cities across the country. Candidates who need to correct an editable field should use the correction facility form starting from October 5, 2026 and carefully save the updated application after making the required changes. Candidates can change only a limited set of details during the CAT 2026 correction window. As per past trends the edit facility mainly covers uploaded images and exam city choices. Non Editable Fields in CAT 2026 Application Form

Some details in the CAT 2026 application form stay locked once the form is submitted and the fee is paid. These fields cannot be touched during the correction window so candidates must enter them very carefully at the time of registration. The locked fields include the following. Candidates who spot an error in any locked field should reach out to the CAT 2026 helpline through the official contact details shared on iimcat.ac.in.

• Mobile number
• Category details
• Academic records of class 10, 12 and graduation

CAT Correction Window 2026: How to Changes in Application Form

The IIM CAT 2026 correction process is fully online and takes only a few minutes if the login details are ready. Candidates need their registered user ID and password to access the edit facility on the official website. Follow the simple steps below 

1. Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in
2. Click on the registered candidate login tab
3. Enter the user ID and password and log in
4. Open the submitted application form and click on the edit or correction tab
5. Make changes only in the permitted fields such as photograph signature and test city preferences
6. Review the updated details and save the changes
7. Download and keep a printout of the revised form for future reference
