The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala has started the online registrations for Regular students of classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Candidates will need to submit their details on the official website at hpbose.org. The portal was launched online on the website on September 8, 2026. The last date for online registration is November 16, 2026.
Candidates who have already registered to appear for the annual examination need not submit new entries using the 'New registration' portal link, it is only for the new entries. It is mandatory that all Children with Special Needs (CWSN) details follow the guidelines laid down for their respective category for application. The school Principal, Headmaster, and Class In-charge are responsible for ensuring that all entered data is accurate and consistent with the school admission register.

HPBOSE Annual Registration 2026: Important Note
- Existing Registered Students: Examinees who have already been registered previously do not need to register again. Examination-related processes for these students will be conducted under their previously allotted registration numbers.
- New Students: For registering new examinees, schools must click on the 'New registration' option on the Online Portal and upload student details. Additionally, other school-related information must be filled out according to the form available on the Online Portal.
- Deadline Compliance: No candidate's registration will be accepted after the specified deadline. The entire responsibility for failing to register students within the stipulated timeframe lies with the Principal/Headmaster of the respective school.
- Accuracy of Particulars: All Principals/Headmasters and Class In-charges must ensure that each student's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, and category are entered correctly. If a student falls under the CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category, complete details must mandatorily be filled in according to their disability certificate. If any candidate's details differ from the school admission register, the full responsibility will rest upon the school Principal/Headmaster and Class In-charge.
