The Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA, has released the final seat allotment result for Round 1 of NEET MDS 2026. Candidates who have received a seat, must choose their preferred option between September 11, 2026 and September 14, 2026 according to the KEA schedule. This seat allotment follows the seat list released by the Medical Education Department on September 5, along with the practice and provisional rounds. Candidates allotted seats in round 1 will have to select one of the four available choices after understanding the implications of each option.
Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule
Candidates who select Choice 1 or Choice 2 will have to pay the mentioned fees on September 15 and 16. Choice 1 candidates are also required to submit their original documents at the KEA office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, between September 15 and 17 and download their admission order.

Applicants who choose Choice 1 must pay the fees and submit their original documents before joining the assigned college. The final time to report is 6 pm on September 18, 2026. KEA has urged applicants to carefully review the outcome of each option before deciding. The authority also recommends visiting its website frequently for updates on seat availability and the admission procedure.
Important Rules and Guidelines
KEA stated that school qualifications, college entry, and seat spots will follow rules set by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI), the Karnataka government, and other official boards. As per the notice, participating colleges will stay open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays so everything stays on schedule.
