Karnataka UG NEET 2026: As per a notification on social media, the Karnataka Examinations Authority has extended the date for candidates to enter their options for the third round of seat allotment for UG NEET counselling. As per the notification, the date for entering options for the third round of seat allotment for admission to Medical and Dental courses has been extended to October 2, 2026. The link will be active until 10 AM.
As per the notification, the seat allotment process of Karnataka NEET UG 2026 round 3 has been extended owing to the nationwide bank strike. Along with the option entry window, KEA has also provided time for students to submit the caution deposit for the third round of counselling until October 1, 2026.

Eligibility for Participation in Third Round of Karnataka UGNEET Counselling 2026
Candidates interested in participating in the third round of Karnataka NEET UG Counselling must check the eligibility criteria provided.
a) Candidates who are not allotted any medical seat in the first and second round.
b) Candidates who have cancelled a medical/dental seat by paying a penalty.
c) Candidates who have Allotted Medical / Dental Seat in the first round and selected Choice-4.
d) Candidates who exercised the 'QUIT' option before the final results of the second round.
e) Candidates who have reported to medical/dental colleges can participate for up-gradation
Students must note that those who have already secured admission to Medical and Dental seats are also eligible to participate if they are interested in Up-Gradation. Those who did not enter any choice after seat allotment in the first and second rounds are also not eligible to participate in Karnataka NEET UG round 3 counselling.

Candidates entering the choices are advised to go through the Karnataka UGNEET round 3 seat matrix and enter the choices in the order of preference for allotment.
