Who Can Quit KEA UGNEET 2026 Counselling?

The Choice-4 facility is not an open withdrawal option for every candidate. It is intended for candidates who meet the conditions specified by KEA. In the current Round 2 process, candidates who have received a seat through both MCC and KEA and want to continue with the MCC seat can use Choice-4 to exit the KEA counselling process.

UGNEET 2026 Round 2 Allotment and Re-Run

KEA has also announced that the Round 2 allotment process will be re-run after the Choice-4 window. Seats under the eligible candidates will be pooled and considered for the revised allotment. Importantly, candidates will be considered based on the options already submitted during the Round 2 option-entry process.

The latest update indicates that candidates will not get another opportunity to change their existing preferences during the re-run. The revised allotment could therefore result in an upgrade to a higher-preference seat, depending on seat availability and the applicable allotment rules.

Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Round 2: What Candidates Should Do Now?

Candidates who have received a seat through KEA and MCC should compare both allotments before selecting Choice-4. Those who wish to retain their MCC seat should ensure that they meet the conditions specified by KEA before exiting the Karnataka counselling process.

Candidates who want to continue with their KEA allotment should not select Choice-4 and should follow the instructions applicable to their allotted seat.
