NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Registration Closes Today, Choice Locking Open Till Tomorrow

The Medical Counselling Committee will close the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 registration process today, September 8, 2026. Students participating in the second round of NEET UG counselling must visit the official counselling website to complete the registration and application process.

Candidates must note that the window for students to enter the choices for the second round of NEET UG counselling closes tomorrow, September 9, 2026. Candidates can enter the choices in the order of preference and lock the choices before the deadline tomorrow. The choices which are not locked will be locked automatically and cannot be edited or changed.

Based on the choices locked, the seat processing and allotment results for round 2 will be released. The allotment result will be available on September 11, 2026. Students allotted seats in the second round of counselling are required to report to the allotted colleges with the required documents from September 12 to 18, 2026.

The link for candidates to register and enter the choices for the second round of counselling is available on the official counselling website. Candidates can follow the steps provided below to register and enter the choices

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET UG counselling

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG New Registration link

Step 3: Click on New Registration and enter all relevant details

Step 4: Fill out the application form

Step 5: Click on choice filling and enter the choice of course and college in the order of preference

Step 6: Lock the choices entered

Step 7: Save and click on submit

Earlier, MCC issued a notification regarding newly added seats under various categories. 30 new seats have been added as per the latest notification issued on September 5, 2026.
