The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Authority has released a notice for Physically Challenged (PC)/PwBD candidates seeking admission to the State Quota BAMS/BHMS counselling and Admission Process 2026. According to the notice, a detailed guideline, titled, “Guidelines on Assessment of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for Admission to the MBBS Course, 2026” has been released for all State domicile participating candidates of UG Counselling 2026 who wants to apply under PwBD category.
Candidates having valid NEET(UG) 2026 rank interested to take admission under PC/PwBD category in courses of BAMS/BHMS of Govt and Private colleges of the State under State Quota Seats must follow the guidelines released by NCISM.
OJEE 2026: PwD Applicant Eligibility Criteria
In view of the PwD Guidelines forwarded by NMC, PwBD candidates participating in UG Counselling 2026 are advised to note the following points with regards to obtaining Eligibility Certificate for the purpose of upcoming NEET UG Counselling 2026, from Medical Assessment Board of OJEE:
- Candidates who wish to claim seat under PwBD category are required to visit the Medical Assessment Board of OJEE at LT- II, SCB Medical College, Kataka, Odisha on September 22, 2026 at 10 AM and submit following documents at the board to obtain the Eligibility certificate
- NEET UG 2026 score card demonstrating eligibility for the BAMS/BHMS course.
- Permanent UDID card issued by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI.
- Self-certified affidavit declaring his or her functional abilities in the format specified in Schedule-I which shall be verified by the Medical Assessment Board during the course of assessment.
- Self-Certification Affidavit (Appendix-A) and Affidavit specific to the candidate’s disability category, in the prescribed format of NCISM/NMC as provided in Appendix-B to F.
- The certificate will be generated by the center as per details of disability mentioned on the UDID card and affidavit submitted by the PwBD candidate and subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
- In case the UDID Card or Affidavit submitted by the candidate is found to be ‘FAKE’, the seat of the candidate will be ‘CANCELLED’; and legal action will be taken against the candidate.
- The Eligibility certificate will be valid for this academic session only.

The decision of the Medical Board is final and binding.
- The final Admission to PC/PwBD category will be made only as per the recommendations of this Board.
- Candidates failed to attend the Medical Board shall not be considered under Physically Challenged (PC) category under any circumstances.
