What After Declaration of NIOS Results 2024?
Once the results are declared, students who appeared in the class 10 and 12 exams can check out the results on the official website: nios.ac.in, via SMS facility or digilocker. Apart from this, they can also check out the results at Jagranjosh. Later on, students have to collect the original marksheet from the school authorities.
Students who pass class 10 exams can take admission to class 11 in any of the streams: arts, commerce, and science. Whereas, those who qualify for class 12 can enroll themselves in higher institutions in their preferred course.
NIOS Result 2024 Rechecking or Revaluation
Yes, students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking answer sheets within 15 days of the result announcement. For rechecking purposes, candidates have to pay a required fee of Rs 150 per subject in online mode. After this, students’ final marks will either be increased or decreased. The authorities will communicate the outcome with the student shortly after the rechecking.
On the other hand, those who wish to apply for rechecking have to pay Rs 800. The fee is to be paid in online mode. Candidates must check out the important guidelines regarding the NIOS Result 2024 revaluation below.
- If the increase in re-assessment marks is less than 5%, the original marks will stand. However, if the candidate can obtain a pass with grace or without grace, marks of re-evaluation will be attributed to the candidate.
- If re-evaluation results in an increase of marks of 5% or more above the maximum marks, the candidate will be awarded new marks.
- If re-assessment results are lower than the initial marks, the initial marks shall remain.
- If NIOS revises the old mark sheet, a fresh mark sheet shall be issued after the candidate hands over the old mark sheet at the Regional center concerned.
NIOS Result 2024- Improvement Exams
Students who are not satisfied with their NIOS 10th result 2024/NIOS 12th result 2024 can appear in improvement exams. They have to apply for the exams and pay the required fee. Students must note that they can only appear in the compartment exam once during their admission period (5 years).In the case of an improvement request for a subject involving both physical and theoretical exams, the students will have to appear for both (Practical and Theory) exams. The authorities will consider the better marks out of the two exams.
