Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exam 2022: Maharashtra State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has announced complete exemption of ‘Late Fee’ for Class 10 and 12 students who want to apply and appear for SSC and HSC Exams. With complete exemption of late fee announcement, now, students of Class 10 and 12 who are due to appear for SSC and HSC exams this year, will be able to pay examination fees even before the day of the exam. While making the announcement, School Education Minister also added that the decision was taken by the state government to ensure that “No one should miss out due to technical difficulties.”
Decision following Notice in Legislative Assembly
Taking to twitter, Ms Gaikwad sent out a tweet from her official account confirming the Students appearing for Std.10 & Std.12 board exams of MSBSHSE will now be able to submit their exam forms till one day prior to written exams without payment of any late fee. A complete exemption of late fees has been given. No one should miss out due to technical difficulties. The decision to announce late fee exemption for Maharashtra State Board Exam 2022 was taken in response to a notice raised in the legislative council calling attention to the challenges being faced by students and parents.
Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC Exam 2022 – Key Details
While responding to the query in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Ms Gaikwad had noted that so far 14,31,667 HSC students and 15,56,861 SSC students have enrolled for the exams. Earlier, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) had also released the exam date sheet / time table for the upcoming Board Exams for 10th and 12th Class students. As per the Maharashtra board exam schedule, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) for class 12 students are going to be held from 4th March while Secondary School Certificate (SSC) for Class 10 students will be held from 15th March 2022 onwards.
