Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Posts

• Supdtg. Engineer (Civil) - Officer under the Govt./Govt. undertakings holding analogous post ( pay scale of  PB-3 Rs. Rs.15600-39100 + GP 7600(pre-revised) OR with 5 years service in the posts in the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent and possessing degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Executive Engineer (Civil) – Officer holding analogous posts on regular basis (pay Scale of PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 6600) (pre-revised) or with 5 years regular service in the grade in the pay scale of PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400 or 8 years regular service in the grade in the pay scale of PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4600(pre-revised) and possessing degree in Civil Engineering.
• Executive Engineer (Elect.) – Officer holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in the grade in the pay scale of PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400 (pre-revised) or 8 years regular service in the grade in the pay scale of PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4600(pre-revised)  and possessing degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Asstt. Engineer (Civil) – Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis in the pay Scale of PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4600 (pre-revised) or 8 years regular service in the grade in the pay scale of PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200 (pre-revised) and  diploma in Civil Engineering.
