Delhi University declared the eight cut-off list for OBC candidates late on 20 July 2012. 2012 has been remarkable for general and OBC students with as many as eight lists coming out.
While Hansraj College has B. Com (Honours) still open with 92 to 90 per cent, Hindu College is offering Philosophy (Honours) with a 76.5 to 71. 5 per cent cut-off. Ramjas , still short of students is offering B. Com (Honours) at 89.5 to 87.5 per cent and Economics (Honours) at 87 to 84 per cent. Kirori Mal College also has Economics (Honours) course running with 86.99 to 82. 25 per cent.
Amongst the South campus colleges, Venkateshwara is still open with History (hons) with a 58 percent and Sociology (hons) with 68 percent. Kamala Nehru College also has most of the courses still in the running, apart from Hindi (Hons).
This year 2012, Delhi University witnessed a major ruckus in terms of the OBC admissions. However, with the eight list still in the game, good news seems to be finally reaching out to students.Admissions on the basis of the eighth list, will take place on 21 and 23 July 2012.
