IIT Madras announces the results of JEE advanced 2017. JEE advanced 2017 were held on May 21. Optical Response Sheet (ORS) has already been released earlier this week. Candidates will receive the feedback till June 6 up till 5 pm. A total of 2.21 lakh students have cleared the JEE Main to qualify for IITs and NITs.
JEE Advanced 2017 papers had 183 questions worth 61 marks each for each subject. The total weightage was 366 marks with a combination of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), integer type questions and passage type questions.
IIT JEE Advanced 2016 Paper-1: Detailed Solutions and Questions
Paper 1 of JEE advanced was held from 9 am to 12 pm while the second paper for JEE Advanced 2017 was held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
According to experts, Paper 2 was more difficult than Paper 1. Out of 2.2 lakh candidates who cleared the exam, 1.71 lakh have applied for JEE Advanced 2017. Boards of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana have a substantial share in this number.
