Decor, Dhol and Anticipation: Kalindi Gears Up for Lehren’ 26
Kalindi College campus is buzzing with excitement for its upcoming cultural fest, Lehren, on April 8th and 9th. Preparations are in full swing, with decorations, rehearsals, and student union coordination transforming the campus. The artist lineup, featuring DJ MAAN and Palak Oberoi, was recently unveiled, sparking spontaneous celebrations. Lehren promises two days of music, performances, and shared experiences, driven by collective student effort.
The campus is abuzz right now; everything is in transition. The place which is usually meant for lectures and practical is now humming with a different energy, enthusiasm and liveliness. Corridors are louder, every corner feels alive and there is an excitement that refuses to settle.
LEHREN, our cultural fest (8th and 9th of April) is unfurling its energy in full swing. The campus is slowly transforming, adding a poster here, lighting there and handcrafted pieces by students in another corner. Rehearsal spilling in every corner that seems vacant, but none actually is. Stages take shape at the Amphitheatre, hinting what is about to come in the day ahead. With the student union at the helm, these preparations move with a sense of coordination and direction.
A day before the fest, in the afternoon, what was once a feeling turned into a moment, as the artist line-up for Lehren was unveiled through a banner reveal at old administrative block, with a DJ set by DJ MAAN on Day 1 live performance by Palak Oberoi on Day 2 as the featured artist marked by the rhythmic beats of dhol, drawing the students to a spontaneous celebration.
Beyond the beautiful decorations, performance, DJ night and artist, it is the students who give Lehren its pulse. Between last minute rehearsals, quick meetings and mic check, the campus is a display of collective effort.
As we are standing on the verge of the event, the campus stands on the edge of celebration,no longer confined to classes, assignments and tests.
