A List of assessment centers for SSC CHSL exam

SSC had released its notification for recruiting Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Lower division clerk, data entry operator and Court clerks. The calendar for SSC CHSL is estimated as below: -

i.    Release of Application Form: - 8th October 2016
ii.   Last date of Registration: - 25th November 2016
iii.  Download Date for E-Admit Card for Tier –I: - 26th December 2016
iv.  Exam date of Tier-I Exam: - 7th Jan 2017- 8th Feb 2017
v.   Tier-I result announcement: - April 2017
vi.  Date of Tier-II exam: - will be notified later.

During form filling stage, It is advisable to choose the nearest and accessible centers via formal means of transportation for that. No reservations are applied in allotting the centers.

Now, most of you may be thinking that how SSC allocates these centers to the candidates. The answer is ----  SSC usually opts a very basic strategy for allotting the center of examination. Candidates are normally allotted the center of examination opted by them while the sub - center is allotted as per his ticket number. But, sometimes, there are more candidates in comparable to available capacity. In such case, SSC shifts such candidates to the nearest exam center of the applied examination center. In this context, Women and physically challenged candidates are exempted/ relaxed. They usually get the desired/filled examination center.
