Eligibility Criteria for Applying
Educational Qualification:
English is the language of communication for the course. The minimum qualification shall be graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized University. It is relax-able in case of extraordinary talented candidates from tribal, folk and traditional performing art families. The applicant should also have sufficient knowledge of theatre with participation in at-least 4 productions.

Selection Procedure for National School of Drama (NSD) Course
The meritorious applicants will be initially short-listed. They will have to appear for the final selection through 2-4 days workshop at Bengaluru Centre, Kalagrama, Mallathalli (Behind Bengaluru University), Bengaluru-56 for auditions/ performance and physical test. The last date to apply through proper channel is 25 June 2017.
How to Apply for the National School of Drama (NSD) Course
The application form can be downloaded from the website www.nsd.gov.in from 7 April 2017 onwards. The attested copies of certificates and testimonials must be attached along with the application forms. There should also be a demand draft drawn in Favour of NSD, Bengaluru Chapter. The forms are to be sent either by hand/post to The Camp Director, NSD Bengaluru Centre, Kalagrama, Mallathalli (Behind Bengaluru University), Bengaluru-56. The last date of submission of forms is 25 June 2017.
