Online MSc International Environmental Management from University of Madras

The Universities of Madras and Northampton have developed a Masters degree programme in Environmental Management as environmental management has been identified as a priority area by the Government of India as also the world is experiencing climatic changes.

M.Sc in International Environmental Management provides an exciting and unique opportunity to benefit from a modular part-time programme of studies, and gain a degree from a UK university.  The learning and teaching is primarily delivered via a Virtual Learning Environment, fully supported by Module Learning Packs and academic tutors from both Universities to provide web, email, text, telephone and face-to-face week long workshops held twice annually at the University of Madras. The part-time nature of the awards allows the balancing of the demands of family and the workplace, with the attraction of gaining post-graduate qualifications. 

The Masters programme is supported by the Higher Education strand of the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI).

Three levels of study are offered in the programme:

• The Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits)
• The Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits)
• The Masters (180 credits)
