Opening and Closing rank of NIT, Sikkim for the years 2018, 2017 and 2016

The National Institute of Technology, Sikkim admits students into the B.Tech degree course on the basis of JEE Main Rank since 2013 (Through AIEEE till 2012).  All foreign national studying in any country including India who have studied at least two years in a foreign country during the last eight years and had passed the qualification examination from abroad, can also take admission in NIT, Sikkim through the scheme of Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). In this article we are providing the opening and closing rank of NIT, Sikkim for the last three years namely 2016, 2017 and 2018. Students must consider the previous years’ opening and closing ranks while preparing priority list of engineering colleges and courses they want to join.

The National Institute of Technology Sikkim is a premier technical institute of the region. NIT Sikkim is one among the ten newly sanctioned NITs by the Government of India in 2009 under the eleventh five year plan and it is declared as an 'Institute of National Importance'. NIT Sikkim is an autonomous institute and functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
