The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will conduct the UP TGT exam on June 03 and 04 for Trained Graduate Teacher posts. UP TGT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The candidate should follow all the UP TGT exam day guidelines to keep things smooth. For example, you should check the reporting time and plan your travel accordingly. You should carry all the things required in the exam centre. Double-check everything before leaving. This will help you complete your identity verification formalities easily. Below are the UP TGT 2026 exam day guidelines for reference purposes

• Reach the test centre 40-45 minutes before reporting time. No late entry is allowed after the gates are closed.

• Bring the hard copy of your admit card to the exam centre. Make sure all the details are correct and visible.

• Carry a valid Photo ID and keep its 1-2 copies. It can be your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, driving licence etc.

• Bring 3 recent passport-size photos. Make sure it matches the one you used in your UP TGT form.

• Follow the UP TGT exam dress code to avoid any issues. Wear simple and comfortable clothes.

• Do not engage in any unethical practices during the exam. If you are caught cheating will be disqualified immediately.

• You cannot leave the exam hall without permission.

UP TGT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: DOs (Things to Follow)

• Reach the examination centre at least 45 minutes before the exam starts. Entry will be closed 45 minutes before the exam begins.

• Carry your admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and three passport-size photographs for verification.

• Bring your own clipboard (without any writing), black ink ballpoint pen.

• Check the question booklet and answer sheet (OMR) for missing pages or printing errors before starting the exam. If there is any issue, inform the invigilator immediately.

• Ensure all details and circles on the OMR answer sheet and attendance sheet are correctly filled. Mistakes cannot be corrected, and candidates will be responsible for errors.

• Candidates are allowed to bring a transparent water bottle for drinking purposes.

• If applicable, bring your own scribe, a valid disability certificate and identity proof for both yourself and the scribe.

UP TGT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: DON'Ts (Things to Avoid)

• Candidates arriving after the entry deadline will not be allowed inside the exam center.

• Using unfair means, copying, impersonation, or leaking question papers is a punishable offence.

• Do not bring tables, graph sheets, calculators, slide rules or any other unauthorised material.

• Candidates are not allowed to share any stationery, including pens, with others inside the examination hall.

• Once inside, candidates cannot leave the examination hall until the exam is over.

• Do not use whitener, blade, or eraser to correct mistakes on the OMR sheet. Incorrectly filled details may lead to non-evaluation of your answer sheet.

• Candidates must submit the OMR answer sheet intact. Only the invigilator is authorised to separate the copies and return the candidates copy.

• If you bring any unauthorised items, they must be deposited outside the exam hall. The commission will not be responsible if they are lost.
