WBCHSE Revised Syllabus of Class 11, 12 Subjects: Check Major Changes, Download Latest Syllabus in PDF

The syllabus for classes 11 and 12 has been updated in 19 subjects, including Bengali and English, to help reduce the pressure on students. The Higher Secondary Education Council has made slight changes to the curriculum, which now aligns better with the new changes to the semester system for these grades. These changes mainly affect subjects in the language, art, and commerce streams. In addition, minor adjustments have been made to the syllabus of some science subjects, such as statistics and biological sciences. Some sections have been added, while others have been removed. 

The decision to revise the syllabus was made after consulting various experts and feedback from different sources. The goal is to make the learning experience easier for students by reducing unnecessary stress. Parliament President Chiranjeev Bhattacharya explained that the changes aim to improve the overall benefit of the new semester system for students, ensuring they can handle the coursework more effectively.
