These rankings evaluate universities concerning the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. To give a thorough and fair comparison of sustainability across  four major domains, which are as follows:-

  • Research- conducting studies on pertinent subjects is the most evident and conventional way for a university to contribute to the SDGs' delivery.

  • Stewardship- In addition to their physical assets, universities also look after their staff, professors, and students. One of the most important aspects of achieving the SDGs is their stewardship.

  • Outreach- In higher education, location is crucial, and colleges can be more sustainable through their interaction with local, regional, national, and worldwide populations.

  • Teaching- eaching is essential for both guaranteeing that there are enough qualified practitioners to meet the SDGs and ensuring that all graduates carry the most important sustainability lessons into their future employment.
