The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA, has opened its portal for the online registration and choice filling of the academic programs and preferred institutes for the academic year 2025-26. The official authority has also released a notification regarding admissions to the Undergraduate programs of the Indian Institutes of Technology through various other quotas like:-
- Sports Excellence
- Fine Arts and Culture Excellence
- Olympiads
There are a total of five Indian Institutes of Technology that will be offering admissions to their wide range of undergraduate academic programs through the other channels of sports excellence, olympiad, fine arts and culture excellence.

IIT UG Admissions 2025 through Sports Excellence
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA, will offer admissions to the students seeking admission through sports excellence in the following IITs:-
- Indian Institute of Technology Madras
- Indian Institute of Technology Indore
Candidates seeking admission through sports excellence must have achieved at least one medal in the last four years of sports achievements in any of the National and International level tournaments. IIT Madras is offering at least two seats per program through the sports excellence admissions, which will include one gender neutral and one female seat. Whereas, IIT Indore is offering only one seat per program through the sports excellence admissions, which will only include gender-neutral seats.

IIT UG Admissions 2025 through Fine Arts and Culture Excellence (FACE)
The candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, through Fine Arts and Culture Excellence have to qualify a certain eligibility criteria to be able to seek admission to the various academic programs that are offered. IIT Madras is offering only 2 seats per program, which will be allotted through FACE, which will include both gender-neutral and female-only seats.
Below is the list of the eligibility criteria as provided by FACE and IIT Madras to seek admission to the various undergraduate programs:-
- A candidate should be an Indian Citizen at the time of JEE (Advanced) 2025 registration.
- A candidate should have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2025 and should have obtained a rank in the Common Rank List in JEE Advanced 2025.
- A candidate should at least have secured the minimum marks as prescribed by the IITs in class 12th from a recognised board to seek admission.
- A candidate should have received at least one of the awards in appreciation of their achievements in fine arts and cultural activities. (Please refer to he official website.)

IIT UG Admissions 2025 through Various Olympiads
The JoSAA is offering admission to the various undergraduate programs being offered by the IITs through participation and recognition in the various olympiads as well. There are four IITs which are offering admissions to various olympiads, and they are as follows:-
