APSC AE Exam Analysis 2026: The Assistant Engineer (AE) screening test is being conducted today, on 27 September by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) in two shifts. The first shift was conducted between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for the General Studies Paper 1. As per the candidates feedback, the exam was of easy to moderate difficulty level. The APSC conducts the AE recruitment to fill the 105 vacancies of Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical) under the Public Health Department, Assam.
