The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 seat allotment schedule for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate dental courses in Karnataka. As per the schedule, the Round 2 seat matrix will be displayed on September 19, 2026, after 11 AM.
Candidates eligible to participate in the second round will be required to complete the prescribed formalities, including payment of the caution deposit, where applicable, and rearrangement or modification of their options. The provisional Round 2 seat allotment list will be published on September 23 after 4 PM, followed by the final allotment result on September 24 after 10 AM.

NEET MDS Round 2 Caution Deposit 2026
Candidates who are required to pay the caution deposit must complete the payment within the prescribed deadline to become eligible for Karnataka NEET MDS Round 2 counselling.
According to the KEA notice, Choice-3 candidates from Round 1 and candidates who entered options in Round 1 but were not allotted any seat have to pay a Rs 1 lakh caution deposit to participate in Round 2. For SC/ST candidates, the caution deposit is Rs 50,000.

Karnataka NEET MDS Round 2 Option Entry
After the Round 2 seat matrix is displayed, eligible candidates can rearrange, modify or delete their choices. The option modification window will open from 1 PM on September 19 and remain available until 10 AM on September 23, 2026.
Candidates should carefully review the available seats before modifying their preferences. The seat allotment will subsequently be processed based on the options entered and the applicable counselling rules.
Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result
KEA will release the provisional Round 2 seat allotment list on September 23 after 4 PM. Candidates can then check whether they have been allotted an MDS seat.
The final Round 2 seat allotment result will be published on September 24 after 10 AM. Candidates allotted seats will then have to complete the required fee-payment, document-submission and admission formalities within the prescribed deadlines.
